Japan forward Daizen Maeda scored a brace as leaders Celtic beat Aberdeen 5-1 at home Tuesday in the Scottish Premiership.
Maeda opened the scoring in the 24th minute and added another two minutes into second-half stoppage time after Shayden Morris got the visitors on the scoresheet in the 90th minute.

The brace took Maeda’s season tally to 11 goals in the Premiership and 25 goals across all competitions.
Celtic raced to a 3-0 lead at the break as Maeda’s opener was followed by goals from Jota and Callum McGregor. Maeda’s Japanese teammate Reo Hatate played the first 59 minutes.

In France, Keito Nakamura headed in a 79th-minute opener in Reims’ 5-3 shootout victory over Angers following a 1-1 draw in their French Cup quarterfinal.
Nakamura played the full match for Reims, along with Japanese teammates Junya Ito and Hiroki Sekine, who assisted Nakamura’s goal with a cross from the right.
