BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The 2025 UAB football schedule is here!
For a fourth straight year and for the seventh time in the last eight years, the Blazers will begin their season campaign at home. UAB is set to take on Alabama State in week 1, making it the second time since 2019 that the Blazers have faced the Hornets, who they defeated 24-19 in 2019.
However, after their home opener this year, UAB will head on the road in week 2 and immediately jump into American Athletic Conference play taking on the Navy Midshipmen. After a return home in week 3, the Blazers will head to Neyland Stadium to take on 2024 College Football Playoff participant Tennessee in week 4.
The annual ‘Battle for the Bones’ between UAB and Memphis will return to Birmingham this year Oct. 18 at Protective Stadium.
UAB’s final game of the season will take place on the road at Tulsa Nov. 29.

The 2025 American Athletic Conference (AAC) championship game will be held at the home site of the AAC regular season champion on either Dec. 5 or 6, according to UAB.
