Edward Waters, Fort Valley State, Albany State and Benedict are Savannah State’s primary opponents.
Clark Atlanta, Lane, Tuskegee and Central State have been replaced on the 2025 schedule with Miles, Kentucky State, Allen and Morehouse.
It will be SSU’s first meeting with Miles since a 24-12 loss in 2006. The Tigers played Kentucky State and Morehouse in 2022 with Savannah State losing to KSU 28-13 and beating Morehouse 15-3. The last time SSU played Allen was back in 1949 when the institution was known as Georgia State College and participated in the Southeastern Athletic Conference. Allen won the game, 33-6.
