Rochester Community and Technical College football coaches and players hosted a Family Football Camp on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon at the RCTC Regional Stadium Bubble in Rochester.
Around 30 children in kindergarten through eighth grade as well as their adult companions engaged in agility, speed, passing/throwing, sportsmanship, and team play skills all led by RCTC football mentors.
The program, which is organized by head coach Terrence Isaac, is centered around teaching children the skills necessary to succeed on and off the field.
Defensive coordinator coach Richard Embry, who joined the RCTC football program in January of this year, led the camp after coach Isaac could not attend.
“The program is built off of just straight structure…the core values of leadership, doing what’s right when no one’s looking…and a sense of urgency,” said Embry. “Just doing your job and getting after it and leaving nothing behind. It’s all from coach Isaac.”
RCTC will continue to host more youth football skills camps throughout the summer.
