LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School has announced the promotion of Bobby Bolding to head football coach.
With over 30 years of coaching experience, Bolding has been a key figure in Parkview’s football program, serving as defensive coordinator for the past three years during which the team secured three consecutive championships.
Bolding began his coaching career at Marked Tree High School before moving to Stuttgart, where he won his first state championship as head coach.
He also led teams at Pine Bluff and White Hall to the state finals, becoming one of only two Arkansas high school coaches to guide three programs to state championship games. His tenure at Pine Bluff was particularly successful, with two state titles and nine semifinal appearances, cementing his reputation as one of the most accomplished coaches in Arkansas history.
Throughout his career, Bolding has been recognized for his strategic vision, leadership skills, and commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
“We are thrilled to announce Coach Bolding as the new head coach of Parkview Football,” said Tim Turner, athletic director at Parkview. “His extensive experience, remarkable track record, and deep understanding of our program make him the ideal leader to build upon the strong foundation we’ve established.”
