Bowie State Football Unveils 2025 Football Schedule

BOWIE, MD – Under the leadership of head coach Kyle Jackson, the Bowie State Bulldogs have officially announced its 2025 slate on Thursday. The 2025 schedule features four home contests in Bulldog Stadium and a pair of non-conference matchups against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opponent Shippensburg for the first time in program history and FCS opponent Delaware State.

“We are excited about the schedule for the 2025 season,” said Head Coach Kyle Jackson. “We start the season with two tough out-of-conference games against Shippensburg and Delaware State before kicking off a competitive conference schedule. We look forward to opening the season in Pennsylvania on September 6.”

The Bulldogs kick off their season on the road with three consecutive away games, beginning with Shippensburg University on September 6, followed by a matchup against Delaware State on September 13, and its Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) opener at Livingstone College on September 20.

Bowie State will welcome Winston-Salem State on September 27 for its home opener, marking the start of a four-game home calendar. Key home matchups include Fayetteville State (October 4), Virginia State (October 11), and Elizabeth City State (November 1), with the last two tilts being pivotal CIAA Northern Division contests.

One of the most anticipated road games of the season takes place on Oct. 25 when the Bulldogs travel to Virginia Union in a Northern Division clash but prior to that matchup, BSU will travel to Bluefield, WV for a game against Bluefield State on Oct. 18. The regular season finale features a division tilt at Lincoln (PA) University (November 8).

The Bulldogs hope to return to the CIAA Championship game, set for November 15 in Durham, NC. Bowie State, winners of the CIAA title in 2018, 2019, and 2021, is determined to reclaim championship glory in 2025.

All home games will be played at Bulldog Stadium on the campus of Bowie State University, season ticket sales will be revealed at a later date.
