Alabama has been blessed with 2 of the greatest coaches in college football history over the years. First was Paul “Bear” Bryant, who won 6 national titles and 14 SEC championships with the Crimson Tide from 1958-82. Then Nick Saban took over in 2007 and won 6 national titles with the Tide and 11 SEC titles before retiring at the end of the 2023 season.
Kalen DeBoer took over the program entering 2024 after leading Washington to a national runner-up finish in the College Football Playoff the previous year. To say he has big shoes to fill is an understatement.
Alabama also consistently churns out elite NFL talent, producing first-round picks at an incredible rate.
The Crimson Tide played their first football game in 1892. They moved into Bryant-Denny Stadium in 1929 and have played there ever since.
